  1. 01

    Fit call

    A 20–30 minute call to understand your business, goals, timing, and budget. We'll tell you honestly whether Lumen Sites is a good fit.

  2. 02

    Scope & proposal

    A written proposal with fixed scope, deliverables, revision allowance, timeline, dependencies, and total investment. No hidden surprises.

    Deliver a written proposal with fixed scope, revisions, timeline, and communication cadence.
  3. 03

    Deposit & content

    A deposit (typically 50%) confirms your build window on our calendar. We collect content together using a structured, guided checklist.

    Provide brand assets, copy input, and content on time.
    Lumen Sites owns
    Provide the content checklist, templates, and gentle reminders.
  4. 04

    Build

    Design and build happen in weekly reviewable increments. You always know the current stage and what's coming next.

    Attend weekly reviews and respond to open questions.
    Lumen Sites owns
    Ship each increment on time or tell you early if we can't.
  5. 05

    Review & approval

    You approve each milestone in writing before we move on. Change requests outside the original scope follow a documented change process with a written estimate.

    Track revisions and clearly flag anything outside scope.
  6. 06

    Launch

    Launch day is coordinated. DNS, redirects, analytics, and monitoring are checked so nothing breaks in the transition.

    Give access to the current domain and hosting.

    Own the launch runbook and handle the technical cutover.
  7. 07

    Optional care plan

    After launch, keep hosting, backups, security updates, and small content edits handled with a Lumen Sites care plan — billed monthly, quarterly, or annually — or hand off cleanly if you'd rather manage it in-house.

    Keep the site healthy, patched, and reliable.

Communication & change requests

Communication

You'll have one primary contact at Lumen Sites. Your signed proposal documents the exact communication cadence, response expectations, and milestone reviews for your project. We don't disappear.

Revisions

Every project has a written revision allowance per deliverable. Feedback is consolidated and applied in a single round to keep momentum. We track revisions transparently.

Change requests

Ideas outside the original scope are welcome. We estimate them in writing (impact on scope, timeline, and cost), you approve, then we build. Nothing changes without written approval.

Payments

Typical structure: deposit at project start, milestone payment mid-project, final payment before launch. Care plans are billed monthly, quarterly, or annually. Payment details are laid out in your proposal.
